Christmas Gift Guide

I have put up my Christmas tree and I am sure now I will blink and it will be 2021. In case this year has escaped you like it has me and you’re a little out of gift ideas I have put together a little guide with some ideas for your loved ones (and maybe you too). I also have the Gifting Edit this year which I will keep adding to until Dec 20.

for the HOMEBODY

For a year which we have all spent too much time at home, gifts for the home will be welcome. For me, gifts for the home are about making the small moments a little more special.

Sleepwear/Loungewear
Think linen or plush robes, linen sleepwear sets or comfy loungewear that looks so good you can wear it out.

Scents for the home
For under $50 you can find some amazing incense and an incense holder to create your own set to suit the recipient.

Luxe Washing
Let’s make washing a little more of a luxurious experience. Get a fancy hand wash or clothes wash create small moments of self care.

Art / Home Office Decor. Never been a better time to give the gift of art or homewares to dress someone’s home office/kitchen table desk.

for the HOME COOK

For me, food gifts are one of the best types of gifts and really easy to make special for the person you’re gifting to. Maybe they made a lot of banana bread this year, or learnt how to make their favourite cocktail at home.

Cocktail Kits
This idea is something you can easily put together yourself if you know their favourite drink. To make it a little special you could always add a garnish they wouldn’t usually have at home like dried fruit or edible flowers.

Kit them out
Level up their kitchen utensils like a brass measuring set, a monogrammed apron or cocktail shaker

Focus on dining
If they enjoy eating more than the cooking, look to dining table gifts like glassware, carafes or table linens.

Make it yourself
If you’re the cook, put your skills to use. Make your favourite recipe the gift. You could either prepare it and gift it or create a little set with the recipe printed nicely with a hamper of ingredients.

for the SUMMER LOVER

Think pretty sun protection, summer tones & any encouragement to slow down and relax after a huge year.

Sun protection.
Think a fancy take on ‘slip slop slap’ Think sun umbrellas, bucket hats (so many beautiful bucket hats) & SPF 50+.

Summer tones.
Things to get them in that summer vacation mood even though they may not be able to be by the beach. Think bright citrus nail polish, vacation themed phone cases, beachy scents.

Do it yourself.
One idea I love for the summer lover is finding some large clam shells for them to use for their jewellery.

for the BEAUTY LOVER

It is always good to stay clear from foundations and particular skincare items without knowing the person intimately but that still leaves a lot of ideas for the beauty lover on your list.

Discovery Scent sets.
These are great for someone who loves scents but you’re not sure of their taste. That way they can try out a bunch and have mini sizes for when we can travel.

Tools.
Think quarts rollers, massagers or light therapy masks.

Masks.
I know we have had a lot of masks this year but sheet masks are always a winner.

SPF.
The only skincare item they should be caring about. If you’re looking for something a little more special than Banana Boat. Look at brands like Ultra Violette, Emma Lewisham & Mecca Cosmetica.

Beauty related items.
Cosmetic bags, brush cases or even some beauty themed art.

Let me know if there is someone that you still need ideas for and I can try help you out!

with love, Jasmine x
